Sacrament of Confirmation in our Family of Parishes 2026

Bishop Fintan has announced arrangements for the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation in parishes for 2026. These arrangements have been made available to parishes and schools involved.

In announcing these arrangements, Bishop Fintan added that he hopes to visit a significant number of parishes himself for the celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation next year as well as delegating some retired bishops, the Vicars General and a number of other priests when more than one parish is celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation on the same day

Childrens Bookshelf & Activities for use during Mass is now live in Carrigaline!

Helping our little parishioners to grow in faith with Catholic themed books and colouring sheets for use during Mass. Please return all books and colouring supplies to the bookshelf before leaving Mass.

The Little Lambs Bookshelf is available at the Saturday Vigil and Sunday Masses in Carriglaine.

You are invited to Alpha beginning on Thursday 4 September 2025

What is Alpha?

Alpha is a 10-week experience covering such topics as Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How does God guide us? and Why and How do I pray?

Alpha is relaxed, non-threatening, low key, friendly and fun. Alpha can help you to deepen your relationship with the Lord. All are welcome.

What is Involved?

It is a series of ten meetings on Thursday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:00pm. Each session begins with something to eat and social chat over food. This is followed by a video accompanied by an interesting talk. An open discussion is facilitated for questions raised by the video.
